All Day I Imagine How to Act, Live Collision Festival, 2017

Listen and Breathe is an experiential artist collective led by Hugh Farrell and Tyler Kieffer. We met at the Yale School of Drama and, since 2015, have been creating experiences at festivals in Ireland and the United States exploring ecology and human interaction.

Our shows apply techniques of augmented/blended reality and user experience design to find new ways of telling stories about ourselves and each other and our relationship to the bigger picture.

Informed by ancient wisdom and the latest in mind-body research, our meditative productions dive deeply into the mystery of our minds and hearts to bring audiences on journeys through the collective consciousness.

We collaborate with a wide range of artists to tell stories about the stuff of every day life including Michelin-star chef, Kevin Thornton, composers Matthew Suttor and Kevin McNamara, writer Emily Zemba, producer Kelly Kerwin, and video designer Nick Hussong.

Our experiences are available for touring. We typically work with curators and artistic directors to imagine how our experiences can enhance conversations in local communities.

We are proudly supported by the Arts Council of Ireland, Wicklow County Council, Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, and Mermaid Arts Centre.
